Testimony: By Curtis Forbes
At the end of March of this year I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma from a mole that looked abnormal. I had surgery on April 25th to remove a wide extraction from the back of my right shoulder and a lymph node extraction from under my right arm. A usual discovery for melanoma is one tenth of one millimeter but when they found the one in me it was already two full millimeters (20 times larger) which means it had been sitting there for quite awhile completely unchecked and I did not even know it - that was not good at all.
The surgery went well with no problems and I was home
resting the same day. I went to have my stitches taken out Friday morning
May 4th and also to receive the pathology report from the surgeon. I am so
thrilled to tell you all that the Dr. told me that there were NO SIGNS OF
ANY MELANOMA ... WHATSOEVER!!! Not even on the wide extraction they took
out of my shoulder! Given the size of the melanoma, there should have been
at least some melanoma around the already affected area (in the natural)
which most likely could have, and would have been removed during surgery.
But this was a little unusual to find absolutely nothing at all!!! They
made it very clear to me (several times) that the chances for a melanoma
of this size to grow spread / metastasize were quite significant. Also another quick note about the surgery and pathology report ... the surgeon told us that he intended on only taking out one lymph node (what he was calling the "sentinel node" ... the closest node to the already effected area) but actually took out three lymph nodes ... he said that when he went in to do the sentinel node extraction he noticed that three lymph nodes had pulled together into one cluster and they were noticeably enlarged, also there was an unhealthy cellular division in a small mass connected to the lymph nodes, so he took out the whole thing. This is actually called "hyperplasia" and is directly related to biology and pathology. In other words, that lymph node cluster and the cellular division / build up of mass was already happening for a reason and the way this whole situation was unfolding ... it is not hard to connect the dots ... even the doctor said no doubt this would have turned into cancer - it was just a matter of time. Because of the very intense way that the Lord was ministering to me personally during this time and surrounding me with such awesome people of strong faith and pouring out such intense prophetic words to me; I am personally convinced that it was already cancer, even in that cluster of lymph nodes. I believe God just took the cancer completely out of the mass yet left the mass as proof of a miracle. Hyperplasia by itself is not a good scenario but not so profound either … but the fact that this was going on at the very same time that I had a fairly large malignant melanoma in the back of my right shoulder, and that had been sitting there for an extended period of time - that is profound to me, and I just do not think it was any coincidence at all.
Of course, the doctor did not have an explanation for this
other than to say that he was pleasantly surprised that it was a negative
report. LOL I am so deeply humbled at the greatness of our God! He truly
reigns supreme and His name is above every name and every knee shall bow
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord ... even cancer!
Amen! And amen! I just wanted to share this with you all as a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ His healing, saving power and ultimately the love and goodness of our God!!! I have had a lot of prayer from a lot of people and I could not have made it without those prayers. This is the third time since the spring of 2003 that I have faced a very serious health issues that could have very easily killed me, but yet by the grace of God I have survived. In the spring of 2003, I had a major situation going on in my intestines. I went to the doctor for an initial consultation / check up. She (the Dr) was so worried she did not want me leaving her office without scheduling a biopsy. The Lord told me not to do it, I was going through several other things also and that I just could not handle all the negative reports at that time. He told me that if I allowed Him to - He would heal me apart from the doctor. I am pretty sure that was some type of cancer because I battled the spirit of death for about 6 months ... BUT GOD ... intervened and gave me a major open vision in Sept of 2003. I heard the audible voice of God in the vision say that I was healed and I would see a total restoration with no symptoms within 3 months ... by Jan 1, of 2004 I was totally restored, made whole with no symptoms!!! In August of 2006, I had a heart attack that almost killed me, I had every classic symptom and I failed every single test they gave me and it did not look good at all ... not one good report … I was told by the cardiologist that he was without a doubt, 110% positive that I had a classic heart attack ... BUT GOD ... healed me and completely restored me!!! Before I had the heart catheterization done, the Lord spoke to me and told me that I would be totally healed and restored with no residual effects … well, when they took me into the O.R. for the heart cath, they could not find anything wrong with me at all. I was actually awake and heard the Dr say, "There is not a thing wrong with this guy, he is as clean as a whistle! Pull this out (heart cath) and wrap it up ... we are done!!!" Just three days later I had my blood checked and they could not even find any plaque in my blood!!! <>< Hallelujah \o/ It was said that my blood actually looked as good as a teenager!!! Then in March of this year we found out about the 2.0mm malignant melanoma that was in my right shoulder and it is apparent by the activity and enlargement of my lymph nodes that it possibly, unofficially, started to metastasize in my lymph nodes ... BUT GOD!!! ... Ha Ha! Back in November of 2006, my oldest daughter Faith (15 yrs old) was praying in the Spirit one night and she saw someone wearing a white tuxedo shirt - but just from the neck to the waist, and it had three swords sticking out of the chest like someone had been stabbed in the back. The front of the shirt and had circles of fresh blood around the blades, but one by one - all three blades were pulled back out - the circles of blood disappeared and even the slits in the shirt where the blades were - simply vanished - everything was restored back, as good as new ... like nothing had ever happened. She said in her spirit she knew it was me. As I prayed about this and pondered over it, the Lord showed me what was going on. Nothing is more formal in men's wear than a tuxedo, and in the spirit there is nothing more "formal" than Rom 13:14 "But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof". Eph 4:24 "And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness". In my earnest quest and passionate pursuit to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, the new man ... I had been ambushed and stabbed from behind three times by the enemy ... BUT GOD!!! ... Has delivered me, cleansed me, and restored me OUT OF THEM ALL, HALLELUJAH!!! WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT! Lately I have been told be several different people in different ways that these things that I have been going through are most definitely “apostolic tests“… and that I have passed the tests.
Persistence and victory is definitely a very strong
indication of an apostolic mantle. There is no way on God's green earth
that the Lord puts this stuff on us in anyway ... But there is a real
enemy that wants to destroy every true believer; and what better way to
let him expose his own defeated state and confirm the fact that he has
been completely stripped of all power and authority, than for God to allow
him to test us even when we are in our weakest times (“consider my servant
Job”…) after all he is the enemy and he is going to resist and attack
everything that truly resembles God in anyway. But he is a coward and in
his own extreme arrogance, he takes very special interests in, and cannot
resist trying to overwhelm the In this process, we learn to fall onto and completely depend on the grace of God and the enemy is forever the victim of his own demise. The more the enemy attacks us, the more we learn to clothe ourselves with, and strongly trust in the grace of God and the finished works of the cross. When we trust in the grace of God and the cross of Jesus Christ and not ourselves … the Lord God is exalted and the enemy is defeated - every single time! Just the other day, I distinctly heard the Lord say "Before I marry the apostolic mantle - I bury the apostolic mantle." (John 12:24) All of us are like a seed that goes into the ground and dies then it brings forth much fruit. This is especially true for the true apostle … even in their infancy they push upward through the darkness and blackness of the earth and as they cast off the corruptible body, earthbound mindsets … reach toward the heavens and take upon themselves incorruption as they bear forth much fruit and their fruit is suspended between heaven and earth while being nurtured and caressed by the wind and revelation of the Holy Spirit. 1Co 15:34 “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord“.
1 Cor 4:9 "For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and angels and men" … I believe God put the apostles at the bottom of the stack, and at the back of the pack and says to Himself ... "Hmmm lets see what they do with my grace." And then as we are clothed with the cloak of humility, the grace of God and standing firm on His word (rhema and logos), we fight our way through all the "stuff" the enemy brings at us - and we emerge victorious - conquering as we conquer, we actually prove the grace of God within us and the apostolic mantle upon us. Rom 1:4 - 5 "And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, (or ... the grace of apostleship) for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name" ...
according to - agreeing with, harmonizing with, and conforming to … the spirit of holiness - the character, nature, and likeness of being open, available, and easily accessible to the Lord to be used by Him for any reason at any time, in any place! by the resurrection from the dead - the womb of the morning (psalms 110:3 - 4) I am crucified with Christ (Gal 2:20) walking in the newness of life (Rom 6:4) behold all things are become new (2 Cor 5:17) speak as the oracles of God (1 Pet 4:11) be established in present truth (2 Pet 1:12) for this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality (1 Cor 15:53) rise after the order of Melchisedec (Heb 7:11) It is according to the spirit of holiness and by the resurrection from the dead that we receive the Grace - OF - apostleship!!!
In Rev 2:1 - 3:22 Jesus address the 7 churches of Asia Minor and a very a strong message here “to him that overcometh” Actually this is said a total of 7 times in chapters 2 & 3 (the # 7 represents perfection and completion) and said this for the 8th time in Rev 21:7 which sums it all up quite nicely; “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son” How fitting is that? The # 8 actually represents new life and new beginnings …

But you shall be completely baptized in My peace as my plan for you shall be revealed. I say, do not drive down too many stakes where you are at. Prepare to move into My perfect will for your life and watch me as I provide for you. You are not in the place to expand the size of your tent! Now is the time to prepare for rapid movement, get your house (spiritual & physical) in total order. I soon will give the signal for you to march forward on my perfect path for you. Once on your journey, nothing shall be able to stop you, even though the attempts to do so will be ever present!" Curtis I hear a far away echo, "Forward March!" It's far away, and only an echo, but soon you will hear it very clear, as a very distinct Rhema word. I can't even begin to say how important the word "change" is to you.
