Ten virgins – five foolish five wise,

Waiting for their master to son arrive.

Five were ready and waiting – plenty of oil in the lamp

Five were foolish and lazy – their oil not enough to get them to camp.

I ask of you my friend,

How much oil have you kept anew?

Are you ready for the wedding?

Has the anointing remained in you?

The anointing must be continuous –

We can’t skip even a day.

For it’s the anointing the breaks the bondage

And keeps us from going astray.

Will you be wise or will you be foolish?

The choice is up to you.

Don’t be caught with your lamps empty –

There’ll be nothing else to do.

Let the river flow, let your heart

Announce His praise

Let the anointing flood your being

And your hands be upraised.

Who is this King of Glory?

The Lord strong and full of might.

He is my Rock and my fortress

And He’ll take me through the night.

Fill my lamp with oil

I will not be found in need

Let your presence permeate me

Let your word be a seed.
