Curtis and Renae Forbes have over 18 years of experience serving in core ministry.  They currently live in the Piedmont area of North Carolina along with their 4 children: Faith, Caleb, Mekayla and Alex. They have been very happily married for 18 years.

Curtis is originally from the interior of Maine and Renae is from Eastern Kentucky, but they met near Charlotte, NC where they lived and served in the same ministry for 15 years.  They have also served in another ministry for over 2 years in Florida.  Currently, they attend Morning Star Fellowship Ministries in Fort Mill SC.

By the grace of God, Curtis and Renae serve several people in the apostolic role of spiritual parents. They also have a strong pastoral heart; mentor many others personally, as well as through the Internet. The Forbes’ are gearing up to plant their first church and ministry work in the Gastonia region of North Carolina.

After 4 years of building a relationship with "Apostles Today" and Apostle Bret Wade, there was a distinct unveiling of the will of God on both sides that the Forbes were to come under the covering and leadership of Apostle Bret Wade,  "Realm Ministries" in Huntsville Alabama.  There is a mutual agreement by revelation that Apostle Bret is the Forbes' spiritual father.

Curtis is a loving, dedicated husband and father, a gifted student, teacher, writer, and speaker. He consistently operates in a very heavy prophetic mantle of wisdom and revelation; bringing a powerful and unique enlightenment to the revelatory realm. While transitioning into the apostolic understanding over the last 14 years, he has received a powerful and very distinct shift into the apostolic office and is now being considered by many as a "new breed" type of minister having the ability to "shift" people and ministries into a whole new level of worship, personal relationship with the Lord, as well as kingdom function, having an awesome understanding of "koinonia" relationships within the body of Christ. Proton Ministries is touching and influencing hundreds of people in more than 10 different nations around the globe.

Renae is a very loving, outstanding wife and mother. She has an established online ministry for abused and hurting women, touching hundreds of women in at least 10 other countries other than the United States. This year she will be celebrating the 7th anniversary of Healing Hearts Ministry. Renae has successfully hosted her first women's conference in July of 2006.  Renae has written numerous anointed prophetic poems, and is a very talented song writer and musician who flows strongly in prophetic worship. She also has an exceptional gift to work with children.
